Scope offers an online and offline employment support for working age disabled people. You can find what programmes and services are available on Scope's website.

Disability Rights UK provides information that covers a variety of topics on employment for disabled people. You can find out more here.

The Princes Trust offers support to young people who are aged between 18 and over and want to start their own business. More information can be found online on their website.

Access to Work programme

Access to Work is a programme developed the Government to help disabled people stay in work or get a job. You can find out more information about what the programme offers and eligibility on the Government's website.

Change 100 programme

The Change 100 programme matches talented students and recent graduates who are disabled or have long term conditions with employers for summer placements, development and mentoring.

Employment support for autism

Employment Autism offer advice and information about looking for work, applying for work, interviews and more. You can find more information on their website here.

The National Autistic Society offer a variety of work programmes, training and resources that cater to autistic adults.

They have a finding employment e-learning module that is designed to provide support for autistic adults who are looking for work.

A seeking work guide is also available that provides information and advice about looking for or applying for a job, and also looks at whether an autism diagnosis should be disclosed to a potential employer. 

Employment support for learning disabilities

Mutually Inclusive has a number of resources aimed at supporting people with learning disabilities to explore self-employment.

Mencap offers support if you are looking for work and have a learning disability. Guides, programmes and advice can be found on their website.

Ready, Willing and Able is a support employment programme developed by SeeAbility and it is aimed at people with learning disabilities. Support employment coaches work with people to help them with the career goals and provide guidance and advice on CV writing, interviews, filling in applications for jobs and more.

NHS England want to help support people with learning disabilities in the workforce, and they are doing this by offering supported internships. You can find out more information about this here.

Employment support for other health conditions

RNIB offers information and advice on how to prepare and look for work if you are blind or are visually impaired. 

Stroke Association has a guide about your rights at work after you've had a stroke. You can read the guide here.

Alzheimer's Society has a helpful guide for people who have been diagnosed with dementia and are still in employment. The guide covers: working with dementia, talking to your employer about your diagnosis, how the law protects you, leaving your role and more.

Carers UK provides information and support for carers who are balancing caring for someone and working. The information covers topics including your rights at work, flexible working, leaving or returning to work.
