Safe and Well Visits
Safe and Well is a free service offered by West Yorkshire Fire Service. You will have a firefighter or prevention officer visit you in your home. They will carry out a fire risk assessment.
You will be given advice on how to help to reduce the risk of a fire in your home. You can find out more information on their website here.
Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to get a Safe and Well Visit. To find out if you are eligible, you can complete an online request form. There is also a free interactive fire safety check on their website here. You will be able to carry out your own fire safety check of your home.

Community Meals
There are lots of organisations that deliver meals to adults and older people straight to their homes. These services are available to everyone and you don't need to go through Adult social Care to access them.
If you would like your meal service to be included, please email adultsocialcare@wakefield.gov.uk with your details.
