Groundwork Yorkshire's Green Doctor Programme is a fuel poverty alleviation service with over 13 years experience delivering FREE home energy visits & telephone consultations across the region.

·       An initial home visit with the potential for a follow-up visit if required

·       Energy tariff advice, liasing with suppliers/switching

·       Energy-efficiency advice (heating system use, appliance use, behavioural advice etc)

·       Energy & water debt support (application support, fuel vouchers, warm packs)

·       Income maximisation

·       Building fabric check (insulation, repairs, EPC rating etc)

·       Damp, mould, condensation advice

·       The supply and installation of small measures, LED's, draught-proofing, reflective radiator panels

·       Water support & advice (social tariff application support)

·       Smart meter advice & application support

·       Carbon Monoxide advice

·       Fire safety/smoke alarm check & advice

·       Support to access grants for larger measures, boiler replacement/repairs, welfare support schemes, fuel vouchers, essential white goods (application/referral support)

·       Onward referrals for 'extra' support' to relevant organisations e.g. housing provider, health related, debt agency, food parcels, hoarding, domestic violence, social prescribers, safeguarding etc)
