Wakefield District Domestic Abuse Service (WDDAS)
Description
Everyone has the right to live a life free from fear and abuse. Support is available to anyone suffering from domestic abuse.
If you are in immediate danger, please call the police on 999.
If you would like support and advice around domestic abuse, you can call our helpline on 0800 915 1561. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
The demand for our helpline can sometimes mean we can’t always answer calls on the first try. If this happens, please leave us a message with contact details and a time that’s safe to call you back.
Or email us on domesticabuse@wakefield.gov.uk and we will make contact with you. If you email out of hours, your query will be responded to in working hours.
If you have children who also need support you can get support from your local Family Hub.
