How to engage with procurement opportunities

All contracts will be advertised through YORtender (https://yortender.eu-supply.com/) which has a variety of guides to help navigate the system. An account can be requested through the link here: Supplier registration.

For notifications on future procurement activity for opportunities worth over £2 million in total, these would be for the lifetime of the contract or framework, we publish pipeline information on the national database here: Find a Tender.

Please note that for providers wishing to submit a response to an opportunity they must complete and submit the Procurement Specific Questions in the format that it has been supplied, for example do not convert a word document to a PDF.

Within Wakefield we  have embraced the use of Market Consultation to help to gain an understanding of the market, the providers, and assistance to inform specifications going forward. Premarket engagement should be considered for every procurement exercise to support co-production for the activity being undertaken.
