Who will help me after my diagnosis?

Wakefield District Sight Aid can provide a range of practical support if you have a visual impairment. This includes support with technology, support groups and befriending services.

They offer a 'Living Well Sight Loss' course for people who have recently been diagnosed. It is aimed at people who feel nervous about going out and about in the world.

You can call their helpline on 0303 123 9999, it is available Monday to Saturday. RNIB can provide advice, information and support.
