Age UK Wakefield District Befriending Service

Our Befriending service offers isolated and lonely older people the opportunity to be matched with a Befriending Volunteer, who will provide weekly home visits or if preferred weekly telephone calls, offering conversation and companionship and creating lasting friendships. 

Age UK Wakefield District promotes the wellbeing of all older people and aims to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
