The Community Foundation Wakefield District provides much-needed support to individuals, families, and vulnerable groups across the Wakefield District, the Five Towns, and SESKU.

• We do this by:
• Redistributing £250,000+ annually through goods and financial aid to tackle local deprivation. Not only do we catch those in danger of falling through the cracks, we also make the district more sustainable.
• Selling preloved items in The Community Give Box (our retail arm). We donate more goods than we sell, ensuring resources reach those in need of support.
• Collaborating with other local charities and businesses to provide immediate help without judgment.
• Offering flexible, reactive support without lengthy processes, which helps people meet their basic needs and improves their long-term prospects.
• Fundraising and campaigning for those who can't advocate for themselves.
