Ramp

A threshold ramp is an inclined plane that creates a smooth, continuous platform from one walking surface to another. It is used when there is a difference in height between the walking surface and the threshold of a hinged or sliding door. 

Threshold ramps can be both temporary and permanent solution, ranging from small wedges to provide a smooth transition over a threshold up to a fully installed ramp which provides access from street level to the front door.
